Stone drains are highly unusual and rare due to the complexity and expertise involved in crafting process. However, they are often the perfect conclusion to a well designed patio or driveway. When stone drains are carved out of the same material as the pavements, the product help to create a monochromatic elegance by eliminating the need to change materials at the drain face. Standard drain product is sold by the unit. However, strip drain is sold by the lineal foot and is available in straight or radius segments.
In general, stone drains will be thicker than the surrounding pavements and work best in granite due to the increased strength requirements. Custom drains may be created and priced by the cubic foot as a templated carving.
