Slabs
Rhodes Architectural Stone offers unique and unusual natural stone in the slab format. Almost all of the company’s newly quarried materials are available this way. Since countertops occur late in the construction cycle and are typically made using a templated process, our slabs are shipped oversized directly to a local fabricator near to the project for final cutting. Most RAS slab materials are sold in the ¾” and 2” thickness in a honed finish, although other dimensions and textures are available.
Slab product is sold by the square foot of surface face and has one finished face. Inventory slabs are sold by the actual slab square footage. Ordered slabs may be purchased and sized according to customer needs. This is often accomplished by ordering the required slabs 2” longer and 2” wider that required to accommodate local site conditions.
